Women’s Basketball Pummels Temple, 72-52

Overcome Third Quarter deficit, blow out Owls

The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team overcome a 45-37 third quarter deficit and proceeded to stomp the Temple Owls last evening at Fifth Third Arena.

Cincinnati went on a 35-7 run to end the game, enabling the Bearcats to earn a home conference victory.

The 72-52 victory improved the Bearcats overall mark to 10-7 and its record in the American to 2-2.

Sophomore forward Ilmar’i Thomas dominated the game, posting 22 of the Bearcats’ 49 points in the paint. Thomas made it a double-double by adding 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward Andeija Puckett came off the bench and contributed 15 points and 8 boards in the win.
