The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team dropped their home finale this afternoon.
Cincinnati (4-15, 3-12 AAC) lost to a strong Houston Cougars team (13-5, 10-4 AAC) but certainly hung in this one.
The Bearcats trailed by just four at the half, 39-35, led by senior IImar’i Thomas, playing her last home game. Thomas posted 16 points and 6 rebounds in the defeat.
Houston took control in the third quarter, turning that frame into a 24-11 run and putting the game away.
