The Cincinnati Bearcats football team is laden with players who are being named to preseason watchlists.

Bearcats cornerback Ahmad Gardner and defensive end Myjai Sanders have both been named to the Walter Camp preseason All-America football team. Gardner is no stranger to such lists, having been named to five such All-American teams in 2020. Sanders himself is one of the country’s top returning defensive lineman.

One of Gardner’s teammates in the defensive backfield has also been the recipient of preseason accolades.

Cornerback Coby Bryant was named this week to the 2021 Ronnie Lott IMPACT Trophy watchlist. Bryant, who exemplifies the Bearcat ethos of success both on and off the field, was selected for the watchlist because of these attributes. The Lott IMPACT award honors played who excel on the field and are also superstars in their community.
