This is the first Big East game since the Bearcats were unceremoniously dumped from the Big East tournament by West Virginia last march. UC is riding a nice 12 game winning streak coming into the game against the DePaul Blue Demons, the seminal basement dweller of the Big East. I don't know about you but I am pretty excited to be in Big East play. The Jury is still out on this team, and while this game is unlikely to be the determining factor on whether or not people start to buy into this team. I for one am ready for the games to count again. UC has run roughshod over a pretty weak non conference slate and has gotten as much as they could hope to get out of it. So it is time for the games to matter, and conference games always do.
