West Virginia At Cincinnati Gamethread

This obviously is an important game for UC, and it is for reasons that have nothing to do with the man on the opposing sidelines. Every game is important, but home conference games against teams that comprise the middle of the conference matter a little bit more because being in the middle of the ladder is a perfectly nice place to be, but its always better to be on the higher end of the thing. UC and WVU are teams of roughly equivalent stature within the confines of the Big East conference. A win in this game puts UC into the top four in the conference with a 6-3 record with 9 games to play. A loss and the Bearcats would drop to 5-4 alongside Goergetown, Syracuse and Marquette. That's not a bad neighborhood to be in, but I am a big fan of a slightly rarefied air so lets get it done.
