It wasn't pretty to say that least, but that was an immensely satisfying win for the Bearcat faithful. And you should get used to it, because this is probably how UC is going to have to win games for the rest of the year and next year as well. UC got unexpected contributions from all kinds of different players and phases of the game. For the first time all season UC got something from the return game, Wesley Richardson played probably his best game of the year, Maalik Bomar shrugged off lingering effects of a series of stingers suffered in the last two games. He came up with a big sack. Walter Stewart has turned it on to become a flat out dominant defender. But the biggest contribution of all came from an expected source. Isaiah Pead turned in his most complete game since romping over Rutgers for 5 TD's. His stats were better then, this was more important. Pead was fed the ball in every imaginable way, screens, draws, swing routes and he just produced time and again. He put this team on his back and simply wouldn't let them lose. Pead averaged 8.8 yards per touch, just phenomenal. Pead's heroics aside this was a team game and the Bearcats dominated this game completely. Enjoy it people. The Bearcats still have a chance for the BCS.
