Who Should Start in the Liberty Bowl: Collaros or Legaux? // Bearcats Nation
I would love nothing more than for Zach to take the field with the starters in his final game as a Bearcat and lead Cincinnati to victory. He’s a great quarterback and has been Reppin’ the C as well as anyone. When the clock hits 3:30 pm on December 31st and the UC offense takes the field, I think Zach will be the one leading them out. Coach Jones cares for the health of his players but he also understands Collaros’ importance to this team and wants to honor his senior quarterback in his last game. We may even see Munchie in there for a few drives and I think we’ll also see Jordan Luallen sprinkled in there as well.
Really robust break down of the issue from Chris. Though I am not entirely sure about the conclusion.

Cronin: Watching UC play against WSU was ‘liberating’ // UC Athletics Blog
"We’re going to try to," Cronin said, "because the other way wasn’t really working offensively. It does no good to try to be a low-post offensive team if it’s not working for you, so you’ve got to go with what’s going to work for you. Changes were coming to our offense regardless (of the suspensions)."
Its good to see that Cronin at least sees the offensive inefficiency this season as a problem.

Football Recruiting
Safety prospect eyes Cincinnati // Big East Blog // ESPN
Just as Everhart thought, Edwards turned out to be a natural, and programs are starting to look at Edwards at safety instead of receiver. In fact, Cincinnati is recruiting Edwards as a safety now after recruiting him at receiver for several months.
Zach Edwards played exceptionally well at safety down the stretch for Middletown and former UC member of staff Troy Everhart. But UC is set at safety with Marcus Foster, Andre Jones and Kevin Brown. Not sure there is room for another safety in the 2012 class.
Big East Bowl Preview
What to watch in the Big East: Bowls // Big East Blog // ESPN
How does Pitt respond? For the second straight season, the Panthers go into the BBVA Compass Bowl with an interim head coach. This year, defensive coordinator Keith Patterson will lead the way after Todd Graham abruptly resigned to take the head coaching job at Arizona State. To say the players are angry about what happened is probably an understatement. A few took to Twitter and unleashed their frustration, using words like "diva" "liar" and "Little Man Graham" to describe their former coach. But they also vowed to put Pitt football first, and playing well in the bowl game will be their final way to show Graham all he left behind. Pitt beat Kentucky 27-10 last year after Dave Wannstedt was fired.
I am sure this is the year that the Pitt fan base puts to bed the notion that they don't travel well to bowl games. LOL

Who Exactly Is Radford?
A smallish public University in the state of Virginia. Radford is10 miles from Blacksburg, give or take 2 miles or so. The highlanders have very little in the way of Basketball Tradition and aren't exactly setting the world on fire with their 3-8 record or 7 game losing streak. But for the hell of it here are the Highlanders last three results.
