University of Cincinnati running back Isaiah Pead (Columbus, Ohio/Eastmoor Academy) was named the recipient of the 2011 Claude Rost Most Valuable Player Award as the Bearcats handed out their postseason awards at the teams' annual banquet Sunday, inside the Tangeman University Center Great Hall.

Weekly Watch: Week 3 // ESPN

Cincinnati: The Bearcats played two games without three of their four suspended players and looked as good as they have all season. The UC offense was dominant and disposed of two overmatched teams in Wright State and Radford. Sean Kilpatrick looked like an all-Big East guard. If Cincinnati can play with that sort of focus and determination throughout the Big East schedule, its troubled season will change dramatically.

Reaves Leads Bearcats In 74-69 Loss At Miami (OH) // gobearcats.com

Senior guard Bjonee Reaves (San Bernardino, Calif./Cajon/Neosho County (Kan.)) matched her career high with 25 points when the the University of Cincinnati women's basketball was defeated by Miami (OH), 74-69, on Saturday, Dec. 17 at Millett Hall. Reaves finished with a career-best nine assists and tied her career highs in 3-point field goals (5) and field goals (8) made.
