Arkansas Pine Bluff Post Game

Bearcats win third straight // Bearcat Lair

"I’m pretty pleased with our effort," said Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin after the game. "Deflections are the key. I think we had forty-three deflections. We started off slow defensively, but some guys stepped it up."

The on ball defense was exemplary last night. APB could not get into anything resembling a rhythm.

Liberty Bowl

Cincinnati Up To 9,000 Tickets Sold to Liberty Bowl // Bearcats Nation

Tip of the cap to the Bearcats fans for nearly selling out their allotment. Most people around the country rave about West Virginia having a strong, loyal fanbase. And they do but Cincinnati fans are often overlooked for being able to travel well. Remember, UC sold something like 17,000 tickets to the Sugar Bowl in 2010 and brought thousands of fans to the PapaJohns.com Bowl in 2007. Cincinnati has again proven that it has a very good following and will fill up stadiums at neutral site games. Having a history like this will only help the Bearcats get more prestigious bowls in the future.

I think Chris is spot on here. For all the problems getting people to Nippert this season the Bearcats are developing a pretty good reputation for traveling.
