All the chaos and uncertainty that currently is enveloping the University of Cincinnati's Football program hasn't had an effect on the one area it should. Recruiting. The Bearcats had a number of prospects in the crowd for the 59-14 dismantling of Akron. Two such prospects have committed to UC in the days that have followed. The first was John Law and today Nate Cole became the second commit in three days.
Cole is a wide receiver from Memphis. He stands about 6'0" and weighs in at 190 pounds. He is a very polished WR, he is very smooth in and out of his breaks. He isn't a super quick kid, he won't juke his way out of many, if any phone booths. But he tracks the ball very well, has good leaping ability and catches the ball with his hands on every play. Cole had standing offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Memphis, Ole Miss, Stanford, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia. This is a major steal for the Bearcats. Cole is the second Memphis area prospect to cast his lot with UC. The other is Alex Dale.
