The importance of this game is manifest. UC is still firmly on the bubble. Right now the Bearcats are most likely on the good side of the bubble. The consensus is that UC needs to win three of the last five games on the schedule. Providence was a bit of a breather between the rock hard middle of the Bearcats Big East Schedule and equally challenging end of the schedule. Starting today the next four games come against teams that are already tournament locks (Marquette and Louisville) and teams that are fighting like hell to get to or stay on the good side of the bubble (South Florida and today's match up with the Hall).

Seton Hall started very well in Big East play going 4-1 with the lone loss coming at the hands of Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. After that they lost 6 straight games where they scored 60 or more points just once. And now the Pirates are on a three game winning streak and are coming off a blowout win over St. John's. They are on a roll coming into this game, so it should be a good one.
