Sean Kilpatrick has been named 2nd team All Big East today. Here is the official Big East press release. This is obviously a big honor for Kila and richly deserved. Over the course of the season he has been the most consistent performer night in night out. Consider this SK has started every game of the season, scored in double figures in 25 of 31 games and has come up with some big moments this including dropping 10 points in 2 minutes against St. John's in the Garden, pouring in 27 points on 16 shots against Georgetown and hitting the game winner against UConn in Storrs.
Down the stretch Kilpatrick's shooting has slumped but he has still found ways to contribute by doing to the little things. Hitting the boards, being a playmaker and best of all he has become a capable on ball defender. Kila and Jeremy Lamb are the only Sophomores who were named to either the first or second team.
