Defensive Back / Punt Returner| Lettered 1975-76

Tinker Keck might be the most recent iteration of the stellar defensive back/return man combination in UC's history. But there have been others like Joe Morrison and Tom Marvaso. Another for the list is Keith Jenkins who shared the defensive backfield with Marvaso for the 1975 season before becoming the alpha male of the secondary in the 1976 season. He led UC in interceptions for both seasons and his two year total of 9 is the highest of any two year player in the Bearcats history.

It wasn't until Marvaso move on that Jenkins got an opportunity in the return game, but when he go it he seized his chance racking up 274 yards in returns in 1976 and he still has one of the best yards per return averages in UC history. Jenkins received honorable mention All America recognition in 1975.
