We will still be blessed with the presence of the current pressbox for a few more weeks. According to Bob Martin, the project manager it will be until January before the press box is brought down. Currently the main focus of the project is on prepping the site. That means closing off the area to pedestrian traffic, moving some utilities beneath the press box to areas where they won't be impacted by the coming foundations for the new press box. At the current pace it will be February before work on the new structure can begin in earnest. February is also when the design for the reworked east side concourses are to be finalized.
