Report: '15 JUCO LB Jaylyin Minor commits to Cincinnati

According to JUCO Football Frenzy, Cincinnati has landed a commitment from '15 JUCO LB Jaylyin Minor from Tyler (JC) in Texas. The most recent addition is listed as a 6'0, 232-pounder according to the teams website.

I briefly spoke to the JUCO prospect who gave high praise to the Bearcats. "They have a great program, a winning team and a great city," Minor said. He continued to express his admiration for the program by saying "the school has a lot to offer and great academics."

Minor told me that two other programs besides Cincinnati offered him, which is Louisiana-Monroe and Central Arkansas. Minor will have three years to play as a Bearcat due to sitting out this past season with a broken foot.

Lastly, Minor said that he has spoke to the coaches since making his commitment and is actually on campus right now for his official visit. that began yesterday.
