Sean Kilpatrick continues to pick up postseason accolades. Today he adds first team AP All-American to his ever growing list. Previously, SK was named to Bleacher Report, Sporting News, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, and NBCsports.com first teams.
In addition, he was named to first team All-American Athletic Conference as well as winning the inaugural Sportsmanship Award by the AAC after leading the conference in scoring and leading the surprising Bearcats - almost singlehandedly - to a conference championship.
The only thing left in his UC history is whether or not his number should be retired along side Jack Twyman, Oscar Robertson, and Kenyon Martin. There are solid arguments on both side of this debate, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
