New AAC Hype Video

The changing of the guard has officially occurred. Louisville and Rutgers are gone and we welcome East Carolina, Tulane, and Tulsa to Conference USA 2.0

Joe Murphy

The American has released their latest hype video. It looks pretty good and is overall pretty well done.

Honestly, I didn't even see Cincinnati the first time I watched it. So, if you look really hard, what will you see...? You will see Justin Jackson loose a tip at the 26-second mark and then at 37 seconds you will see the failed trickery of Branded Kay as he is sacked for a loss. The light comes at the 39-second mark as Justin Jackson and Jermaine Sanders watch SK throw it down on a fast break.

I don't want to read too much into this, but typically these hype videos show every team pretty evenly while also clearly highlighting the flagship programs (I don't think I sound like a homer calling UC a flagship program of the AAC). Notice, for example, that in the early clip of Terrence Samuel driving to the basket you can clearly read UCONN for a good 4-seconds and the same with UCF moments later. That is how you tell the world "Yeah, the national champions are in our conference". Without pausing or slowing the video, you won't be able to read Cincinnati or Bearcats until the flashing text at the end of the video. Nevertheless, here it is in all it's glory... Get hype...
