"We are excited about playing downtown in the home of the Cincinnati Bengals and creating the Bearcats at the Banks zone on college football gamedays," Director of Athletics Mike Bohn said. "We are most appreciative of the outpouring of partnerships from the Bengals to the Holy Grail, the City of Cincinnati and many others. Combining enthusiastic alumni, students, donors and fans in one dynamic area will be enjoyable for all Bearcats fans."
Fans will have access to all the restaurants and businesses along the Banks. A DJ, beverage vendors, games and activities for all are scheduled to occur. Convenient parking is available underneath the Banks in the Central Riverfront Garage. Paul Brown Stadium is just a short walk away.
That the Bearcats have to play this season at Paul Brown Stadium is, I think we can all agree, suboptimal. But the Cincinnati administration is doing their best to integrate these new events on the calendar into the existing social fabric downtown. I already went over the reasons why the post game fireworks that will be taking place after the game is a brilliant idea. This is in the same vein, with the exception that this will be happening before each and every game. Its just a great idea to integrate a new event into an existing social calendar.
