Its been a whirlwind 24 or so hours as we went from reports indicating Luke Fickell was in negotations to become the head football coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats, to a decision would be made but no confirmation yet, to Fickell had the job and all that was left to wait for was the official announcement. Well now we have that.

An official press conference will be held at 3:15 p.m. ET to formally introduce Fickell, who agreed to a six-year deal, which is still pending approval by the UC Board of Trustees.
