From the Video Vault: Lance Stephenson at home in Coney Island

UC great Lance Stephenson shows off his Brooklyn neighborhood in this 2014 clip.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Former UC standout and current Memphis Grizzlies swingman Lance Stephenson narrates this fascinating tour of Coney Island, the neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City in which he was raised by a devoted mother whom he describes as the "best cook in the world."

Despite his brief tenure at UC, Stephenson is widely regarded as one of the finest players in school history. It was nice to see Stephenson return to form late in the 2015-2016 NBA season. On February 18th, the Clippers traded Stephenson to the Memphis Grizzlies, where he averaged 14.2 points per game in 26 appearances over the last three months of the season. Stephenson's numbers with the Grizzlies approached those of his career year in 2013-2014 with the Indiana Pacers, the franchise that selected him 40th overall in the 2010 collegiate draft.
