The Cincinnati Bearcats picked up their 10th commitment for the 2017 class on Friday, with Lorenzo McCaskill announcing his intentions to play at UC.

McCaskill is a three-star outside linebacker from Southfield, Michigan. He is ranked the No. 51 recruit in the state of Michigan by 247Sports. He also is ranked the No. 128 outside linebacker in the 2017 class by 247. The 6’2”, 200-pound prospect received offers from 11 different schools, including several in the state of Ohio such as Bowling Green, Toledo and Miami-Ohio.

UC already has commitments from nine other recruits for the 2017 class. The group includes tight end Wil Huber, offensive tackle Cody Lamb, kicker Cole Smith, quarterback Desmond Ridder, running back Jaelen Greene, athlete Jalen Walker, defensive end Jamal Hines, defensive tackle Tyrone Chambers and offensive lineman Blake Yager. Prior to McCaskill’s commitment, it was ranked the No. 90 recruiting class in the country and the No. 10 class in the American Athletic Conference.
