Recruiting season is in full force for the Cincinnati Bearcats and thus far things have been moving nicely. They continued to do so this weekend as four-star safety R.J. Potts announced his commitment to UC.

Potts is not the kind of recruit the Bearcats were used to even getting in a room with under Tommy Tuberville, but Luke Fickell and his staff clearly have already hit a different level.
R.J. Potts is the highest-rated Bearcats commit in six years.

The four-star safety hails from Fishers, Indiana. 247Sports rates him the No. 3 recruit in the state and the No. 26 safety in the 2017 class. A 6’2”, 199-pound defensive back, Potts also had offers from Indiana, Missouri, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
