- Series history: This is one of those series that UC has dominated. The Bearcats are 29-8 all-time against the Bulls, with wins in six-straight meetings and eight of the last nine games. UC is also 17-1 against them in games played in Cincinnati and 13-0 at Fifth Third Arena.
Fresh off an exhilarating win over arch rival Xavier, the No. 19 Cincinnati Bearcats will host the USF Bulls in a return to American Athletic Conference action at Fifth Third Arena.
Right now getting in front of the Bearcats is a death sentence. UC has won 11-straight games and on Thursday, with its first Crosstown Shootout win since 2012, extended its home winning streak to 20 games, a record during the Mick Cronin era. At 18-2 overall, the Bearcats have torn through their first 20 games and are still a perfect 7-0 in league play. Sunday’s game represents their chance at 8-0.
USF is on the opposite end of the spectrum. The Bulls have lost all eight of their tries in league play and are just 6-13 overall. They haven’t won a game in over a month and have lost all 13 games they have played at Fifth Third Arena against the Bearcats. Sunday doesn’t look like the day that changes.
