The Cincinnati Bearcats have won 14-straight games dating back to December. Winning streaks like that will get you noticed, no matter what conference you play in. For their most recent efforts (a last-second win at Tulsa and an easy victory against UConn), the Bearcats have been lifted to No. 11 in the latest AP Top 25. They now sit behind 10 teams in the rankings and are oh so close to earning a single digit ranking.
Odds are another 2-0 week will get them there, as they face a stout UCF squad on Wednesday before squaring off against SMU, which entered the rankings for the first time this week (No. 25), on the road next Sunday.
UC has now been ranked in 11 weeks this season, including the last 10. That 10-week streak matches the longest of the Mick Cronin era.
Outside of the Bearcats, Gonzaga remains the only undefeated team left in the country and the No. 1 team in the poll, followed by Villanova, Kansas, Louisville and Oregon in the top five. The rest of the poll can be found below.
