Bearcats Win 20 Games for First Time Since 2003!

The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team and their fans have much to celebrate this evening.

As they await their draw in the quarterfinals of the AAC women’s basketball tournament, Cincinnati can celebrate their victory over Tulane, an impressive 80-65 road win which helped the team reach a long sought-after milestone.

The Bearcats (20-9 overall, 12-4 in the AAC) clinched their first 20 win season since 2003. They have secured third place in the conference, which is the best-ever finish in the American.

Cincinnati cruised past an overmatched Tulane club, taking a commanding 31-21 lead into the break.

Four different Bearcats scored in double figures. Forward Ilmar’i Thomas posted a team-high 18 points while guards Antoinette Miller (16 points), Angel Rizor (15 points), and Sam Rodgers all made key contributions.
