Great news everybody!
Travis Kelce will be playing tonight for the Kansas City Chiefs, despite reports earlier in the week of his limited practice participation due to a knee injury.
He will figure prominently Chiefs’ home opener and post-Super Bowl hoopla on tonight’s broadcast on NBC.
Kelce begins his eighth season tonight, well on his way to Canton. He was named to the NFL’s All Decade Team for the 2010s and has been named to 5 Pro Bowls. He has gained 1,000 receiving yards in four consecutive seasons, a record for tight ends. And he’s a Super Bowl champion.
And it all began in Cincinnati.
Thank you for your support for Down the Drive! Looking forward to an exciting season of Cincinnati football.
