Sure, Ohio State Had a Nice Season But They Just Aren’t Ready to Hang with Teams from the Power Conferences

Tough break for Ohio State.

What a magical season they had.

They were such a heartwarming story this year on the college football landscape—a little team that came out of nowhere and showed that maybe someday they might belong on the big stage.

Sure, they come from a little heralded conference.

But they’ve got all kinds of pluck and just the kind of coach you’d want mentoring your kids.

Sure, last night didn’t go so well. But they are just a couple of years away from being able to compete, if they can just get their recruiting up a little bit.

As you listen to the sweet refrains of “Rammer Jammer, Yellow Hammer,” just insert “Buckeyes” for “Bulldogs” in the “Hey ___________, we just beat the hell out of you” section.
