With East Carolina Game Postponed, Bearcats Prepare for Tulane

With Wednesday’s East Carolina game postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, the Bearcats move on to their Saturday evening home date against Tulane.

The status of that game remains somewhat murky as of this morning. If the Tulane game is in fact played on January 16, it will provide the Bearcats with a great opportunity to get back on track.

Like the Bearcats, Tulane has struggled in the early going of the 2020-2021 conference season. The Green Wave raced out to a 5-0 mark outside of the league but have struggled to the tune of a 1-3 record within the conference.

Tulane’s strength is certainly its backcourt—big and sturdy sophomore guard Jaylen Forbes is one of the top scorers in the American, averaging better than 15 points per game and possessing a decisive first-step towards the rim.

Junior point guard Jordan Walker is the quarterback of Tulane’s attack, possessing top-notch skills as both a ball-handler and distributor.
