Semi Finalized Plan For West Side Of Nippert Stadium Released

And it looks absolutely stunning

As promised the University of Cincinnati dropped a 21 page PDF file on the project and a reconfigured website for the project. I will take a deep dive into the PDF in a bit, in the mean time I will give you my initial reaction to the design. I really like it.

There is a certain architectural legacy to live up to at the University of Cincinnati, particularly in the middle of campus where the Steger Student Life Center, the Campus Recreation Center and the Tangeman University Center dominate not only the area, but the space.

The old press box never fit in with the rest of Main Street once it was completed. It looked very much out of place. The new structure, with its angular glass facade fits in brilliantly with the rest of Main Street.

More New Nippert Talk to come shortly.
