The Least You Should Know

Northwestern State is 2-0 on the year with wins over Missouri State and Southern. They are, as of this week, receiving votes in both of the major FCS polls. They bring to the table what looks to be a balanced offense and an aggressive attacking defense. They are, in other words, a team that can make life interesting and not at all comfortable.

Tommy Tuberville is promising big changes to the lineups and personnel groupings. That should make for a much smoother performance, particularly on offense where the Bearcats have looked disjointed in both games. They have been productive sure, but the cohesion has been lacking. Saturday night is a great opportunity to work some of those issues out. The Bearcats should win this game, they are the bigger more physical team, and they have better athletes. But anything can happen in this, they year of the FCS upset.
