BREAKING: #Bearcats guard @SeanKilpatrick_ has been named a Wooden Award finalist. (Group of 15)
— Tom Gelehrter (@Tommy_G) March 8, 2014
There isn't a person in the country who can say with a straight face that Sean Kilpatrick doesn't belong among this group. He has been one of the best players in the country all season long, and he has turned his game way up when it has mattered, in conference play.
The Bearcats offense has at times resembeled a one man band with SK doing anything and everything that the offense has required; from running the point creating for others to making things happen for himself when the clock winds down. That is saying nothing of his defense which has been stellar on the ball and off. SK is probably not going to win the award, Doug McDerrmott probably will, but no matter. Kila has had a special year, and this shows that others have taken note.
