Cincinnati, at 4-3, host the 0-8 UCF Knights in the first ever meeting between these two schools. This matchup was at one point thought to be a significant showdown between two teams vying for the AAC title. Cincinnati plays to keep their hopes alive, however slim they are, while UCF plays for their first win of the season.
Longtime head coach George O'Leary resigned last weekend, leaving former Bearcats quarterback Danny Barrett as the interim head coach. Barrett looks to beat the Bearcats in his return to Nippert Stadium behind the arm of Justin Holman and the legs of Dontravious Wilson who both have missed multiple games this season due to injury.
UCF ranks 128th nationally in total offense and 106th nationally in total defense.
