Earlier today Mick Cronin announced that Quadri Moore is suspended. Here is what I found from Cronin:
"We have standards both athletically and academically in our program that Quadri is not meeting. It is my hope that Quadri will take this time to make the adjustments he needs to make in order to be a Bearcat again."
Moore's contribution to the team this year has been underwhelming. He has had difficulty adjusting to the pace of the game at this level. That being said, tonights game was a glimpse of what loosing Moore can mean to the program. When Ellis was hurt, and DeBerry and Clark were in could trouble, there was no good decision of what to do.
I don't have any specific information at this time, but whatever the details are, hopefully they will be resolved... quickly. He is on a team with players that can teach him how to learn from mistakes. Ellis was kicked off the team two years ago for his role in the Xavier fight. Ellis played two years of Junior College ball, and returned a better man. Hopefully, Moore can learn from Ellis.
