Even if March is in the distant future, padding the NCAA Tournament resume is a full-time job from November to February. The No. 24 Cincinnati Bearcats (2-0) have an excellent opportunity to add a marquee early season victory this afternoon as they take on the No. 21 Rhode Island Rams. The game, which is part of the Naismith Hall of Fame Tip-Off, features two of the hottest scorers in the early season in UC's Jacob Evans (21.0 PPG) and URI's E.C. Matthews (20.0 PPG). Both will be trying to shoot their team to victory after a relatively easy early schedule, especially for UC which routed Brown and Albany in its first two contests.
As always, the comments section is here to serve as a sounding board during what should be a tight contest.
