This appears to be the week for scheduling news, or least for some scheduling news. On Monday we found out that Cincinnati's matchup with Purdue on Sept. 10 will take place at noon. Today, the American Athletic Conference released kickoff times and television offerings for a number of games.
For Cincinnati, three games were given further details. The season opener against Tennessee-Martin on Thursday Sept. 1 will be played at 7 p.m. and be available on ESPN3.
Another Thursday night kick off, one with much bigger stakes, will commence at 7:30 p.m. when Cincinnati hosts Houston on Sept. 15. That game will be played at 7:30 p.m. and you can watch it on ESPN. No, not the streaming service, the actual TV one!
Finally, the matchup against UConn scheduled for Saturday Oct. 8 will get going a little early (11:30 a.m.) and be available on CBSSN. Make sure to drink lots of fluids and adjust your breakfast plans accordingly.
The rest of the remaining start times and television schedule will be released after the AAC's 12-day selection process.
Update: Cincinnati's game against Memphis on Friday Nov. 18 also was given a kickoff time and TV spot (8 p.m. on CBSSN).
