Josh Posley commits to the Cincinnati Bearcats

That makes two Warren Central Warriors joining the UC family in three days after Dionte Buckley jumped on board on Tuesday. Josh Posley a 6'2" 230 pound DE for the Warriors committed to Butch Jones today.

“I went for a visit on Sunday and really liked their program, their academics and the way they go about their practices,” he said. “They want me to play a hybrid position called ‘Leo’ which is a defensive end and outside linebacker. I think I fit perfectly with their system.”

UC was his only BCS offer at this stage, but he was offered by most of the MAC schools. And being a member of the Warren Central program, one of the handful in the Indianapolis area programs that consistently produce BCS players more offers are likely to come. Ideally Posley would be another two or three inches higher with that same weight. Regardless he is a tremendous player with a fantastic get off and great instincts. He will likely be a high three or even a four star player when all is said and done. He is a tremendously talented player. All in all this is a very good get at what is going to be a huge position of need in this 2012 class.
