Both are really deserving of the honors. As always I am an unabashed Shaq Washington fan boy. He is going to leave the Bearcats after next year as one of the all time greats in UC history; right up there with Mardy Gilyard, Jim O'Brien and Dominick Goodman. As for Jeff Luc, it might well be belated, but the man is living up to the five star billing. I thought he would have some trouble stepping in for Greg Blair this year. Instead he has taken the position and turned into a source of chaos and destruction for opposing offenses. He has had a great year. The rest of the Bearcats award winners are included in the link. The one that caught my eye...Chris Murphy winning defensive scout team player of the year.
