Here are this week's AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Polls for college basketball. In this week's polls, Cincinnati fans will notice that their 7-0 Bearcats have jumped seven spots in both polls to No. 17 after defeating Southeastern Louisiana and then taking down Nebraska and George Washington in Brooklyn, New York, en route to winning the Barclays Center Classic last Saturday.

Cincinnati will have an opportunity to bolster their ranking with a big game against Butler Wednesday night. The Bulldogs rank No. 25 in the Coaches Poll and are receiving votes (No. 28) in the AP Top 25.

Meanwhile, Kentucky still dominates the love at the top of the polls, convincingly ranked No. 1 in both. Maryland and Michigan State follow at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Different combinations of Kansas, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Duke, Villanova, North Carolina and Virginia fill out the top 10 in both polls.

Looking ahead for Cincinnati, Butler is on the backend of the polls, as is Connecticut, receiving votes in both polls (No. 26 in AP and No. 27 in Coaches). December opponents, Iowa State and Xavier are climbing up the polls with the Cyclones ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll. Xavier is No. 12 in the AP Poll and No. 18 in the Coaches Poll. Conference foe SMU is ranked in the AP Poll at No. 22. Cincinnati's most recent win, the George Washington Colonials, are receiving votes in both polls as well.
