Following a loss to Memphis last Friday on their last home game of 2016, the Cincinnati Bearcats (4-7, 1-6 American Athletic Conference) travel to Tulsa to take on the Golden Hurricane (8-3, 5-2). Since they were knocked out of bowl contention last week, this matchup marks the final game in what has been an extremely disappointing season for the Bearcats.

Unfortunately, Tulsa and the Bearcats are headed in completely different directions. The red and black are hoping to avoid their first eight-loss season since 2010. However, there is a fair bit of light at the end of the tunnel, seeing how Cincinnati has beaten Tulsa in the last four meetings.

In their matchup last week with Memphis, the Bearcats snapped a touchdown-less streak that ran for 13 quarters. In order to stand a chance against a competitive Tulsa team, the Bearcats are going to have to score early and often. To do so, they must avoid costly turnover,s unlike last week when Hayden Moore threw two interceptions on the Bearcats first two drives.
