After putting together great seasons, junior guard Troy Caupain and sophomore forward Gary Clark have earned American Athletic Conference honors, being named to the AAC All-Conference teams.

Caupain and Clark have been the driving forces behind the Bearcats 22-9 overall record this season with their offensive output and consistency throughout the season. Caupain earned first team all-conference honors with Clark earning second team honors.

Caupain is averaging 12.4 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game, while averaging 32.6 minutes per contest. His assist totals and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.6) are good enough for second in the American. He scored a then career-high 25 points in a 76-72 win against Memphis, before topping that point total with a 27-point outing against East Carolina.

Clark has been a stuffing the stat-sheet all season, averaging 10.6 points per game to go along with 8.9 rebounds. He has passed the ball well for his position, dishing out an average of 2.2 assists per game. Clark also averages 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. He's shooting 52.8% from the field and has been hitting 52% of his shots from three. Clark has seven double-double performances, including a 15-point, 14-rebound showing in a losing effort to Memphis. He has 14 rebounds in four different games this season.

While Clark and Caupain are more than deserving, Cincinnati fans can wonder if Jacob Evans deserved a little love on the All-Rookie Team. The freshman has averaged 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Bearcats this season.
