Josiah Deguara Tears ACL, Done for Season

Sad Break for Cincinnati Great and Packers rookie

NFL: SEP 13 Packers at Vikings

Tough break for Cincinnati great Josiah Deguara.

The rookie Green Bay Packers tight end suffered a season-ending knee injury in Green Bay’s Monday night victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

On Tuesday, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur announced that his injury was a torn ACL. Deguara injured his knee in the fourth quarter while blocking on the Green Bay’s punt team.

Deguara impressed during Packers training camp, so this injury is particularly frustrating. The former Bearcat was expected to make a significant contribution in Green Bay this season, particularly as a pass catcher.

Check back with Down the Drive for updates on Deguara’s status as he recooperates from his injury.
