And the beat rolls on. One of the biggest positions of need for the Bearcats is offensive line, particularly interior linemen. In past classes Butch Jones has really loaded up on tackles, or at the very least guys who will get their first crack at tackle. Justin Murray, Parker Ehringer, Ryan Leahy and Kevin Schloemer* all fall into this category. That has put the Right and Left tackle positions in good hands, but the depth moving inside isn't as good.
* Schlomer moved inside and is projected to start at right guard this year
Butch Jones has taken steps to solidify the interior of the line. Only one linemen joined the 2012 class, but Deyshawn Bond is a guard. Benjamin Flick is a guard all the way as well, though it will be a while before he has a chance to contribute. Flick was flying under the radar with mostly MAC offers before camping at UC. He was offered and committed in rapid succession. Flick is the second Cincinnati kid to join the class, Rasheen Jones being the other, and the fifth from Ohio. Vitals and Highlights after the jump.
