I love recruiting. I admit it. I get all flustered by the ebbs and flows of what 17 and 18-year-old kids are thinking. It's dumb I know. So I get the excitement of it all. But honestly I don't get that worked up over actual signing day, especially for basketball. Football is a MAJOR event and there's a ton of last-second switching that makes it very interesting.
Basketball on the other hand is nowhere near as dramatic. Plus they have two separate signing periods. Yesterday, as expected, Qadri Moore, Gary Clark, and Coreontae DeBerry all made their commitments to play for UC and Mick Cronin official by signing their National Letters of Intent. So there was no drama. There were no signing day spectacular shows on ESPNU (at least I didn't hear of any). It was anticlimactic.
So here's your DTD signing day post. UC has three new players. All three are tall. They have one scholarship open that they hope to fill in the spring signing period. Wasn't that informative? Go Bearcats!
