From the AAC Release.
Kay helped Cincinnati remain a half-game out of first place in the American Athletic Conference standings as the Bearcats were 24-17 winners at Houston. Kay completed 29 of 50 passes for 386 yards and two touchdowns and added a 14-yard rushing touchdown to stake Cincinnati to a 24-7 third-quarter lead. The performance was Kay's fourth 300-yard game of the season and the fifth of his career. He has thrown for 2,799 yards and 22 touchdowns this season.
It hasn't been quiet exactly, but Brendon Kay is putting together one of the all time great seasons for a UC quarterback. As is he is right up there with Greg Cook in 1968, Danny McCoin in 1986, Gino Guidugli in 2004, Ben Mauk in 2007, Tony Pike in 2009 or Zach Collaros in 2010. And he still has two more games to go.
