In the AP the Bearcats are still receiving votes, just as they were last week. But they have fallen down the pecking order a bit and now sit 6th among those receiving votes. In the coaches poll the fall is not as precipitous, as the Bearcats are first among the teams receiving votes. So, win the bowl game and the Bearcats have yet another season of 10 wins and ending the year ranked. I would take that, even though I think the Bearcats have under achieved a bit as a team. I don't know if this is allowed, but it feels like the Bearcats have successfully underachieved a bit, if that makes sense.
