The Bearcats will take to the Shakely Athletic Center this afternoon for the first practice of the week. The Sunday start to the workweek is highly unusual, but everything about the build up to this season has been highly unusual. While we await word on the quarterback situation, and for a handful of other position battles for the Bearcats the Toledo Rockets have two games in the book. A romp over a good FCS team in New Hampshire and a mini boat racing yesterday at the hands of Maty Mauk and the Missouri Tigers.
There will be more to talk about as we move closer and closer to Friday's kickoff, but for now rejoice in the fact that the Bearcats are just five days away from playing their first game of the 2014 season. It has been a long journey from the end of Basketball season to this week, but it has been a good one for us here at Down The Drive.
