Gamethread: Bearcats @ Huskies

On the road. Tip-off before noon. Who you got?

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The contests between the Connecticut Huskies and the Cincinnati Bearcats have been high pressure, low scoring, and extremely close over the last couple of years. Absolute dog fights; toughest team wins.

You normally like the Bearcats chances in these types of games, but this young team is still coming together and learning how to win. They've grown up a lot.

Without head coach Mick Cronin on the sidelines, each big game feels like it's Win One For the Gipper. I'd love to continue carrying that mojo into today's game. In order to do so, they'll need someone to knock down some big shots. Farad Cobb's done just that at times this year, and it'd be tremendously helpful if he gets hot.

Can the Bearcats take their new-found winning ways into Hartford and escape with a victory? Or now that the Huskies are healthy and gelling, will that be the end to the streak of Cincinnati's Mick Cronin-less victories?
