The Cincinnati Bearcats coaching staff is still fleshing out their 2016 football recruiting class, but in the meantime, they already have an oral commitment for their 2017 class.
Jordan Merrell is a two-star wide receiver, according to Rivals.com, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (Dillard). Merrell gave a solid verbal commitment to the Bearcats on May 11, choosing Cincinnati over Marshall, Temple and Florida Atlantic who also offered him scholarships.
The 5'10", 172 lbs player will likely play an explosive role in the offense as a slot receiver when he finally arrives to campus in two years.
