It's been a long wait, but we are finally here. Gameday. The Bearcats are finally back in Nippert Stadium and hosting the Alabama A&M Bulldogs. We've discussed the matchups and previewed the game. Now, we can finally get our first real glimpse at this year's Cincinnati Bearcats.
Cincinnati shouldn't have much trouble with the Bulldogs tonight, but there are certainly a couple things you would like to see from the Bearcats.
First off, I'm going to be looking for a fast, aggressive defense. They should look in control of the game, considering that the Bulldogs are breaking in a brand new quarterback. I'd like to see how the linebackers flow to the ball and if the secondary can make some plays while shutting down Alabama A&M's big play opportunities. Of course, many eyes will be on the defensive line. They have the talent to control the line of scrimmage. Hopefully they make it look easy.
Offensively, I'm excited to see just how explosive the offense could be. There are a lot of weapons and it should be fun/interesting to see how they are all utilized. On the other hand, we may not see much. Tommy Tuberville has shown in the past that he values keeping things close to the chest and off game tape.
Regardless, Nippert Stadium will be rocking, in what should be an exciting game to watch for the Bearcats faithful.
Here's what you need to know to watch the game at home, or on the go. You'll need to check your local cable or satellite provider to ensure live-streaming availability in your area.
