Here are the USA Today Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 Poll for Week 10. Kansas and Oklahoma remain No. 1 and No. 2 in both polls, this time with the Jayhawks ahead of the Sooners in the Coaches Poll. Maryland is your No. 3 team with Michigan State and North Carolina rounding out the top five.
Cincinnati, however, is not currently near the top five, with only two votes in the Coaches Poll after a week in which the Bearcats lost to No. 10 (AP Poll) SMU late and looked unconvincing in a 54-51 win over the lowly South Florida Bulls.
Cincinnati isn't receiving any votes in the AP Poll, although the 12-5 Bearcats do see some familiar names in both polls. Xavier is No. 7 in the AP Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll. SMU is No. 10 in the AP Poll and Iowa State ranks No. 17 and No. 18 in the AP and Coaches Polls, respectively. Butler is ranked No. 23 in both polls. Those teams have accounted for four of Cincinnati's five losses this season with the other loss that head-scratching defeat to the Temple Owls.
The Bearcats are back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 13 against the 13-2 Houston Cougars, looking to pull back into the polls and build upon their postseason resume.
